I’m running for city council because I want to ensure that the city takes a pragmatic and long-term view with the decisions in front of it. Population growth and the Inland port development adjacent to our city are the biggest future hurdles we face. But if the city enacts decisions now with these long-term goals in mind, we will be well set up to deal with these challenges.

I want the future of North Salt Lake to allow families, like mine, to find affordable housing while making sure that North Salt Lake doesn’t outgrow itself. We need to have a plan, both land-use and fiscal, that will allow for sustainable growth and affordability.
